Over 1000 Elementary students will come together after fundraising in their communities for H & S to participate in fun, organized skipping activities from 10-11:30am. Local AHL Ice Caps Mascot Buddy the Puffin and media will attend.

Person to Person (P2P) Canvassing Campaign

A vital part of Heart and Stroke's core mission work, and a personal and community based way to engage support. More than 1,000 researchers were supported across Canada, which will lead to more medical breakthroughs, helping survivors recover faster and return home to their families.

BMO Hockey Heroes Weekend

Hosted by the Heart and Stroke Foundation, BMO Hockey Heroes Weekend will take place April 22-24, 2016 at the BMO Centre in Halifax. The event offers participants a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play hockey with NHL alumni.

BMO Hockey Heroes Weekend

Hitting the ice for the 5th year, the BMO Hockey Heroes Weekend, presented by Medavie Blue Cross will take place from June 3rd - 5th, 2016 in Moncton. The event will offer participants a chance to enjoy a recreational tournament with alumni of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Volunteer Roles Available:

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available, from registration to timekeepers - we’re looking for people who are organized, quick thinkers and fast on their feet. Some roles require a not-so-shy hockey fan with great people skills while other roles require, friendly, down to earth people who may not know a lot about the game but would love to support the cause (don’t worry, we will provide all necessary training!).

Mud Run For Heart

The Mud Run for Heart will push you to overcome obstacles in this rugged 5 km run, in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. New in 2016! We are pleased to present our 2 km Family Mud Run, presented by NB EMS.

Some roles require a not-so-shy person with great people skills while other roles require, friendly, down to earth people who may not know a lot about the Mud Running but would love to support the cause (don’t worry, we will provide all necessary training!).
